Igari-Faux Freckles

Hi Lovelies, this is Joanne ♥
I'm VERY late in the trend game but here's my Igari and Freckle makeup Look. The Igari Look was a hot trend in Japan during the year of 2015 till current where it emphasizes the characteristics of being 'drunk.' (red cheeks etc)
I've added my own twist by adding in Faux Freckles to overall create a cute, innocent makeup look.
Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy!

Mild: Subtle and natural yet, smokey Eye Look Tutorial

What's up Lovelies!
It's been a few weeks since I've last uploaded.. the work load is slowly and abruptly increasing as Sacs are creeping along. Sacs are basically tests that you are ranked in within all of Victoria and overall counts in the final exam taken during the end of the course. stress is becoming a problem ;A; but I have to deal with it since I know other people who are just as stressed and under pressure as I am, its not very fair to state that I'm the only specific person in such burden C:
hehe anyways how have you been? Its nearly Easter soon here in Australia! chocolates mm

Today I've decided to do my first tutorial, yay!
I've named this look as the 'Mild', as it
is a subtle and natural yet a smoky eye look.
This is the look on me, as you can see there is no huge indication that I'm wearing any make-up at all but somehow it supports the eye to make them look somewhat bigger, and that is the goal for today's look!

So let's get to it!

(p.s If there are any suggestions on how I should improve my tutorial posts, please let me know in the comments as I am still a novice at blogging hehe. Thank you)

Firstly, apply your normal day to day skin make-up such as bb creams, foundations or cc creams. I used the Innisfree: serum cc cream in the colour cover; in my opinion and due to my skin type, I don't really use foundation products as it is too thick.
anyways back on track,
complete all the basics such as eyebrows (straight eyebrow tutorial), blush and contouring.
Now apply a thin layer of either soft kohl brown eyeliner, or a light brown shadow on your eye lids, close to your lash line; then blend it out with a blending brush or sponge tip.

(monolids lel ;A;)

Once all blended like the pictures above, pull the shadow out to make a wing and bring it down to the under lash line; once again blend blend blend!

Don't worry if you make a mistake and blend it out more upwards, just use a q tip or a cotton tip to remove the mistakes.
If you have double eyelids, make sure to pull out the shadow higher and over your crease line.
Now we'll add some gold shimmer...

The product I used here is the Etude House: Play 101 pencil in the colour 44

(I just realised you can barely even notice the gold shimmer -,-)
Apply it over, above the shadow and blend it with the brown so it doesn't glisten too much but still just enough to let it compliment the overall look.
Curl your lashes

Highlight the ayegyo sal on you eyebags with a light peachy or gold toned creme shadow before applying mascara.   Both of these concepts are needed in order to make the eyes look more opened and somewhat enlarged.

Mascara that was used here is the Holika Holika: Magic Pole Mascara (purple one, used for elongating the lashes)

For the ayegyo sal I have used the Intersense Power Point Eye in the colour 31 Gold/Beige

(how the colours look, from left to right highlighter, gold shimmer shadow and the brown eyeliner)

No fake lashes are need for this look, as we re going for a more subtle look! It's easy and simple, without much need of precision and great for individuals that have just begun to use makeup. In order to get a flawless eye makeup look is never to pack on various products, its how much patience is taken during the time you apply it and continuing to improvise various and new distinct looks.

I hope you try this look for yourselves and tell me how it goes!

Korean Straight Eyebrow Tutorial

Today I shall be teaching you lovelies ♥ How to accomplish the Popular Korean Straight Eyebrow Makeup!!
This look is very popular not only in Korea but within the whole of Asia. Due to its effect of creating a cute and innocent look by having straight and full eyebrows!
Products used:

Shiseido Eyebrow Razor (can be bought from local drugstores or even Daiso)
The Faceshop - Design My Eyebrow (Lovely me:ex) Colour: 04 Brown
The Faceshop - Colour My Eyebrow (Lovely me:ex)  Colour: 02 Light Brown
(You can use any other eyebrow products by any brand.)
I also sometimes use...

Etude House - Color My Brows in the colour 02 Light Brown
* The colour of brow filler or brow mascara can be determined by the root colour of your hair

Once again, sorry for the bad quality of the photos ;A;
I always do the product 'photoshoots' during the night ( /)u(\ ) hehe
The product on the left is the Brow pencil and on he right is the Brow filler (brow mascara)

For the Design My Eyebrows, there are two sides:

one is the brush

And the other is the pencil.
The convenience of this specific eyebrow pencil is the shape, the triangular shape makes it easier to achieve the Korean straight eyebrows! (*´∀`*)
swatch of the pencil:

Next is the brow filler,
It basically looks like a mascara wand but for the eyebrows.

Anyways lets get on with the tutorial! \(^▽^)/(If you have already shaved your brows and is ready for makeup skip to the second part)First, we're obviously going to start with your eyebrows! aha
Get your eyebrow razors ready!
I am using the Shisedo eyebrow razor,

We are going to shape them and perk them up for the Korean Straight Brows.
Basically, there are two ways of shaping your eyebrows
either the really straight innocent brow (the ones I've done)
or the natural curved straight brows (basically the same as mine but with an arch on the bottom of the eyebrow.)Simply what we're going to do is cut the  top part of the eyebrow in a straight line, you can use your razor as the ruler as it should be shaped in a straight line.

*this is optional but you can do the exactly the same thing for the bottom half of the eyebrow to make it look extra innocent! C: (I have)

Now that we re done perking up the brow, its time to fill them in!! *(-ω-)*
We are first going to use the eyebrow pencil to outline the shape of the brow.
Using the brush side of the pencil, soften out the edges like so.
After completing the outline of the brow, we are going to fill them in with the brow mascara! Basically all you'll be doing is brush gently on the tips of the brow hairs to colour them in. To be honest, if you don't really need to colour them, you can just fill them in using soft, short strokes with the pencil. However, in my case, as an asian It's weird to have black eyebrows with light brown hair. yeah?

So if you're like me then you can fill them in with the brow mascara! but it really doesn't matter ahah as long as the colour of your brows are the same as your hair. :3

There! now this is the completed look! Hope you lovelies enjoyed this tutorial!
'Its easy as 1 2 3' to look innocent and cute with these straight eyebrows :3
I would love to see your attempts in accomplishing this look! :3 anyways see you later!

Review: Etude House Dear Girls: Cute Eyes Maker (애교살 만드는법)

Review: {Etude House} Dear Girls: Cute Eyes Maker

에뛰드하우스 소녀 애교살 메이커 리뷰

prologue:
The aegyo sal (애교살) is basically the 'fat' or eye bag located directly below the eye. The aegyo sal is emphasized through the use of makeup in most Asian countries, as it allows the eyes to look more cute and big; and It also allows the person to look younger.
Some people are lucky enough to have 'cute eye fats' from birth, but people who aren't innate with such aegyo sal, are able to create some through the use of this product.

Today I will be reviewing The Etude House, Dear Girls: Cute Eyes Maker. I bought it due to a lot of positive comments made by people who have tried using this product. It is currently one of my favorite products and is used in my everyday, normal makeup routine !

p.s I'm very sorry about the quality of the photos ;A; it was night time when i took the photos... I shall learn from my mistakes C:

The Matte Brown Shadow of Step 1
The Shimmery pinkish-white of Step 2 (main focus to eye-bags)

Swatches of both the brown and shimmery shadows
- The Brown Shadow is really pigmented, especially with those girls that have really perfect white skin, its better to use less or reduce the amount applied.
Personally, I use the 1st Step of the 'pen' as a contouring shade for the nose bridge, as it is the perfect colour/shade to accomplish the illusion of a high-lifted nose.
- The Pink Shadow is somewhat sheer so it has to be applied at least twice for it to be visible. The use of only the pink shadow under the eyes produces of the same results as when both steps of the pen is used. To be honest, it doesn't really make a difference when both or one is used.

Step 1: Use the pink shadow under you eyes - the eye bags/fat under your eyes

Step 2:  Use the brown side to make a shadow below the pink shadow
-vice versa-
(Full Instructions Below)

Anyways here is the finished look! :3

Pros:✪ The Product itself isn't that expensive and can be bought from various Korean makeup websites.

✪ Overall this is a essential makeup product in order to accomplish the cute/innocent look

Cons:✪ The product only has a limited amount and small amount of shadow, therefore it is used up quite quickly and buying a new one each time is very time consuming >< it only lasts around two months if used everyday.

Thanks for reading my first post you lovelies!
