NYX: Butter Lipstick Review

Hey everyone!
I sincerely apologize for the delay of posts regardless of the fact that my finals finished and I had heaps of spare time during the summer holidays. I've just been going through some really hard transitions and often wasn't feeling motivating to do anything social. Over the past few months I have been able to adapt to my depressions and have gained an abundant amount of self confidence and independence. As the social media and internet is the only place where I can be myself with my precious readers <3
Once again I apologize and hope you will continue to follow my blog and my soon to be released Youtube channel!! at
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp2uQ343nBcxfyvs_F6Oitg
Stay tuned for the video upload sometime next week on a Rose Gold Makeup Tutorial!!

Without further ado Lets get onto this review!! <3

Today I will be reviewing a NYX Lipstick product called the Butter Lipstick in the shade
Moonlit Night.

Here in Australia we don't have many retailers selling NYX products but I was able to get my hands on this lipstick at a certain Kmart in Foresthill Mall of Melbourne. (any melbourians that are wondering!)
The product was very inexpensive and for its price, it has a really good quality pigmentation shade and moisturizing dual effects.

The colour is very pigmented and creates a beautiful plume shade perfect for those cold, chilly days as winter is approaching here in Australia.
It can be used for a formal and causal look since it is able to adapt
with various styles of outfits along with a grunge/bad girl look or even for a sassy 90's look.
You can watch my video that i did for my grunge makeup tutorial
that shall be uploaded soon enough!

-picture used from my grunge makeup tutorial-

Either ways I really recommend this product for everyone as it is:
-cheap and not costly
-quality is good for its price
-pigmented and moisturizing
-its a beautiful shade <3
-It stays on for long periods of time without having to reapply

Tell me how you guys think of nyx lip products and comment some ideas
I could post for either my youtube or my blog <3
Thanks for reading!!
Bye for now

TwoFacedMall Products

Hey there lil sailors! ♡
Really sorry about the somewhat late post, been busy as always! I've been trying to upload more fashion related posts; however never got the time to have a proper "photoshoot"
So I deeply apologize for the inconvenience. Eitherway as long as you sailors are happy with the makeup posts, I'll be glad to continue! C:

Just recently, I have received wonderful Korean make up products from TwoFacedMall!First of all I would like to state that TwoFacedMall is a wonderful website to order Korean Products that come directly from Korea. They offer cheap makeup and skincare whilst is able to internationally ship. Their costumer service is wonderful and at haste as they constantly replied to my emails quickly and sending the package rapidly aswell. Their products are very trustworthy, as the word of fake make up has been an arising issue the past few years.

I obtained four items:
Aritaum Water Sliding Tint
Colour: Rose Valley
Aritaum Stylepop Juicy Tint
Colour: Red Mango
Innisfree Eco Flower Tint Balm

Colour: Camelia
Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder

I don't  usually pick orange or red lip products, as to my opinion it does not suit me ahah. However recently I've been having cravings to try new things and risk everything! Has anyone else had this type of experience before?? I'm so curious!

-The packaging for each product is so very cute and fancy-

I chose the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder due to the Korean Beauty Drama that was trending most recently within the korean youtube channel, InsiteTVWithin this particular 'love drama,' the protagonist consistently applies this product throughout the video, in ways of promoting as well as entertaining their viewers!
Please check out their Channel to watch the videos, in order to understand what I'm babbling about!

-swatched the lip products-
(from top: Aritaum Water Sliding Tint, Innisfree Eco Balm Tint and the Juicy Tint)

As you can tell in this photo above, along with all the lip products, the Innisfree Tint and the Water Sliding Aritaum Tint are very moist and glistening; one con for the juicy tint was in fact that the product itself was way too drying even with lip balm applied underneath.
The orange colours seemed really pigmented when swatched to my arm, however on my lips I couldn't really see any difference from my previous bare lip. Therefore, from this experience I shall not risk buying orange coloured lip products no more!!!

On the other hand, The water sliding Tint was my favourite out of them all, it had no weird after taste and kept my lips moist throughout a long period of time! I would definitely recommend this to people who want to try a less flashy bold red lip!

One con for this product is that the lipstick itself cannot be reverted back into the container like the common lipstick tube; for this specific product you only pull out the amount you'll use and stays the amount that has been pulled out! confusing ey? However this con can be ignored due to the quality of it!!

 -applied the Aritaum Tint-

Thanks for reading and see you next time!

Nars: Satin Lip Pencil in 9208 Luxembourg Review

Hey there lil sailors! ♡
How has everyone been?
Today is the last day of term break ;A; nuu don't want to go to school yet.
So before I get busy again, just wanted to upload another post to keep you
guys interested ;)

Recently I've been interested in the Nars Lip Pencil ranges but couldn't get my hands
on them as I am a poor student who doesn't work yet. Due to
a friend, she has made me obsessed with the red-ish lip pencils.
So I shall be reviewing the newly purchased Nars Satin Lip Pencil in the colour Luxembourg

Before I start, anyone with a Nars Lip Pencil are we allowed to sharpen the pencil with
sharpener? Since it looks like plastic, I'm not really too sure //

Here is the product, I don't know why but I'm so in love with the matte packaging.
It looks so chic and edgy despite the face that its only a lip pencil. To begin with
I picked this product thinking it was a full red shade, however it
seemed to have abit of dark pink mixed with it.

I was a little bit disappointed as I wanted a full red, my mistakes told me I should try swatch it before buying!
Anyways I wasn't fully "emotionally destroyed" after abit ahah C:

Left: Gradient (inner)                   Right: Full Lip

I came down to love it as it made my whole makeup look more edgy and 'party' like!

Overall the product was a tiny bit drying without lipbalm put under
however, it was really pigmented and long lasting.
And in my opinion in comparison to the Missha Lip Crayons, the Nars Lip Pencil is abit more
costly and not as moist than the Korean lip crayons. But hey
the packaging is nice and the brand is well known so why not?
Therefore, it would be better just buying one pencil rather than the whole range.

Eitherways, Joanne must go do her late holiday homework
so off I go ;A; Bye sailors till next time!
Thanks for reading!

Missha The Style: Long Wear Cushion Lip Crayon Review

What's up Lovelies!
Sorry again for the somewhat late post ;A; It's been really chaotic with the start of Year 12, High school..
Don't even let me start on the load of homework given every single day. -Literally Dying-
There is like no day to rest since I basically have a VSL (Victorian Second Language) school for Japanese every Saturdays! Tell me is there any of you out there that has school on a precious Saturday!?! ;A; It's TORTURE x.x
anyways, hehe don't let me ramble on about school, just stresses me out having the thought of the workload...
So today I've decided to do a Review in two colours of the Korean Brand
Missha The Style: Long Wear Cushion Lip Crayon Review.
In the colours:
 • Campaign Pink • Hug Orange
Okay to be honest, I don't understand Koreans and their choice of name for various make up product colours...

._.

-the products-The packaging isn't really my ideal type of 'pretty' in comparison to Nars Lip pencils; I really like simple plain things hehe. The left is obviously the Campaign Pink and the right is the Hug Orange

However in comparison to most lip pencils, most Korean pencil products including this Cushion Lip Crayon is able to 'refill' itself just by turning the bottom screw bit of it ; such as when the pencil goes blunt some products, are needed to sharpen the point with a sharpener in order for a precise application. But in this case it is very convenient that this is able to basically be used constantly without shaving the edge.

-The Reason why it's called the Long Wear Cushion Lip Crayon-This cushion is used to blend the product evenly on the mouth; however I found it kind of annoying and frustrating to apply the product with the use of the cushion. Overall it was kind of messy aswell. But really it depends on the person using it I guess hehe

As you can see, the colours are very vibrant and pigmented. :3-One Point to Missha-

Here is an example of what the Campaign Pink looks like as a gradient and in bold. You can tell that the product is pigmented and very solidly coloured.

and now the Hug Orange! It is less vibrant than the pink since orange is not really a pigmented colour to begin with, but either way it is pretty solid regardless of the fact it is not a real pigmented shade.Fun Fact: People with a more warm / olive tone suits better with a orange colour and people with a lighter skin tone suits a pink. But doesn't really matter if you like the colour that doesn't match your tone, as its your preference hehe C:

-Do you like my little Loopy Mango Hat?-

As you can see here, pink makes the overall look on an individual to look more 'cutesy'
It makes you seem more innocent and more like a baby.

However with the Orange colour, its suits better with a more chic, sexy mature look.
Just with the difference with colours and various make up changes you can transform your impressions hehe C:

There are 3 other colours to choose from in this series of Lip Crayons.

Overall, Both the products are very long lasting, however it is a bit drying if there is no lip balm used before the application of the product. The Colours are really pigmented, therefore if you are looking products with a vibrant and strong tone then this product is just for you!
But then again it can be used as the light gradient effect also.
I rate this product a 8/10 as the drying concept of the Crayon is not really a good pointer and also as it also tends to become blunt at some point, as you can't really sharpen it.
The beneficial facts include that there is no horrid after taste YAY! and its a vibrant and long lasting colour.
The cost is somewhat cheap in Korea, however here in Australia I paid around $30 for one which is a bit on the costly side and not worth to that point.
But Its still a new experience at least trying these crayons once, since they are convenient to apply; easy and simple!
Anyways Goodnight Lovelies

Hope you enjoyed this review!

Tony Moly: Kiss Lover Lip Master no.2 Back Hug Pink Review

Hey there Lovelies
As promised I have reviewed the Tony Moly: Kiss Lover Lip Master no.2 Back Hug Pink
as an cheaper alternative of the
Yves Saint Laurent: Rouge Pur Couture in 27 Fuchsia Innocent
This product is highly recommended for individuals who like to have a bold electric pink colour; for parties or casually if done in a gradient.
Anyways I need more recommendations for reviews ;A; kind of out of ideas right now ahahoh well, it ll start getting busy for me anyways as my final year is creeping along x.x
Why can't it be holidays forever ;A;, so disappointed that I wont be able to get anymore beauty sleep due to stupid school ;A;.
I guess I have to deal with it ahah, at least I get to see all my friends again hehe

Anyways Lets get into it! C:

The package of the lip tint is in a rectangular shape, which makes it kind of look edgy and chic, overall I reckon the basic style of the lip tint was very well made regardless of the fact it looks like the similar rectangular packaging of Yves Saint Laurent's Glossy Stain collections.

The consistency is surprisingly thick but very moistening unlike most American or European products. Which is a benefit most of yous will like ;)
The colour is very pigmented as well and works like a lip stain, allowing it to stay on the lips longer regardless of eating and any disturbance
 to the lips.

The top swatch is a blurred smudge/
and the bottom swatch is just a normal swipe with its pigmented colours.

From left to right (Gradient, dark gradient and full lips)
As the product is very moistening, on the lips it looks very soft and creamy rather than being chappy and dry. another pointer! hehe

Here's me with the lip tint, in comparison to my skin it is very pigmented and very bold.
So I only limit this lippy to the days which I feel confident for a bold lip. Overall it is a very good product as it has no weird after taste and it continues to keep the lips very moist and long lasting.

Anyways there are still alot of colours to choose from for this product
Overall rate 8/10

hope you guys enjoy this (:
might have a tutorial running up next

Yves Saint Laurent: Rouge Pur Couture in 27 Fuchsia Innocent

Hey there Lovelies

It's nearly end of January ;A;
aka School is going to start soon -crys- so sad that it's finals this year ;A;
oh well it doesn't matter I guess cause I'll find time to post stuff for you guys! C:
Anyways, I shall be doing a Review on
Yves Saint Laurent: Rouge Pur Couture in 27 Fuchsia Innocent. YAY

First of all it may be quite expensive just for a simple lip product, if so I would recommend using the Tony Moly Kiss Lover Series as a replacement. I shall be reviewing that product shortly ^^

First of all quite obviously, this product is the Rouge Pur Couture Series which comes in a packaging as any ordinary branded lipstick.
As eye catching as it is with its gold, reflective surface; I can't say how beautiful the packaging is!

Anyways enough of admiring how beautiful the cover is, we still have to reveal the amazing colour inside hehe
As I usually go for the pinks or hot pinks, this product is a some what electric baby pink
and reminded me of the popular Fuchsia Pink Colour Jun Ji Hyu (전지현) had from the kdrama "My Love from the Stars"

(Jun Ji Hyuns Lip Colour: Yves Saint Laurent: Rouge Pur Couture in 51 Corail Urbain)

Here is what the colour looks like in general:

As you can see its a hot pink as stated above.

However as when I swatch the colour, it looks lighter than it originally in the tube/solid form.

As you can see here on my lips -shy-
(From left to right: light  gradient, pigmented gradient, pigmented full lips)
The colour is very vibrant and very pigmented just like the colour Jun Ji Hyun wears.
To my surprise I liked the colour better than I expected, as being purchased it seemed like a darker pink. The colour stays on for a long time if not touched and even if you eat or lick your lips or something in order to disrupt the colour; the product somewhat adheres to the lips like a typical lip tint. Overall I love this product as it is not sticky nor drying in anyway.
Oh and most of all, it does not have a after taste, the typical lipstick taste; as I detest the taste of lipstick, Yuck!
Some lip products such as revlon or some benefit lip products come with the yucky taste therefore I stay away from such products... Sorry fans of the following products but its true

Overall I was really happy with the
Yves Saint Laurent: Rouge Pur Couture in 27 Fuchsia Innocent Lip product and have no regrets in paying some cash to satisfy myself with good products.

anyways of you too are interested in this product, you may purchase it  from their main site,
http://www.yslbeautyus.com/rouge-pur-couture/194YSL.html?dwvar_194YSL_color=51%20Corail%20Urbain

as you can see, I personally prefer the gradient style of all lip products hehe ~
Overall I would rate this product 9/10
